Build a distinctive Honors program by implementing an enriching co-curricular experience infused with high quality experiential learning.
Bridge the Curricular & Co-Curricular Experience
Turn your point systems and program requirements into a fun, interactive experience that is easy to track. Construct badges, competencies, and milestones that include coursework and experiential learning requirements. Automatically track group-based participation (i.e. - Harry Potter Houses, Class Sections, etc).
Infuse High Impact Practices (HIPs)
Integrate HIPs directly into the Honors experience at scale. Whether it’s our ePortfolio that students can use to collect work samples, research projects, and other artifacts from their learning or our self-guided reflections that prompt students to analyze their engagement.

"A really neat thing we are doing with Suitable that we didn’t think about at the beginning is using points, leaderboards, and so many other features to our advantage.”"
Linda Condon
Honors Advisor, Northern Illinois University
"Before Suitable, we used to have to track our experience points by taking pictures of ourselves at events and then emailing them to honors directors. Now, it’s no longer a hassle. It’s so organized and I’m able to see all the events for the semester all in one place."
Eryn Wagoner
Honors Missouri Southern State University Student
"Our Honors students need to go above and beyond their curricular requirements. We needed to be able to track services, activities and opportunities for students. As we looked at other software, we thought Suitable was suitable! "
Dr. Loria Brown Gordon
Associate Dean, DuBois-Harvey Honors College, Jackson State University
"“I think the value of the Honors SOAR program [Suitable] is the way in which it builds an honors community. Honors is a very close community, and having this program where students have opportunities to meaningfully engage with honors peers and faculty does so much to make this community even closer. The Honors SOAR program has allowed me to personally interact with peers and faculty who I would never have met otherwise and has provided me many valuable relationships.”"

We do! Suitable has been working with Honors Colleges and Programs across the country for years. We are also NCHC partners and attend their annual conference each year. In addition to co-hosting NCHC webinars.
Yes. Many of our Honors partners have a point system in place that they have to track manually through excel or paper notes. With Suitable, we can digitize and automate the tracking of these point requirements - all while making the experience fun and exciting for the modern student.
We sure do! This is one of our strengths. Honors Colleges simply upload their experiential learning activities and set the validation. They can ask students to complete self-guided reflections, upload ePortfolio items, or custom assessments or surveys.
Yes. Most of our Honors partners utilize our ePortfolio to help students document and complete their service learning projects/volunteerism.
There is! Our ePortfolio is personalized to each student to showcase their learning. It accepts all major media files and formats (i.e. - videos, pictures, links, powerpoints, word docs, code, and more). Don’t worry, students have full control of their privacy/sharing settings and they are able to determine which ePortfolio items are public and which they’d like to keep private.
In many cases, Honors students are so caught up with their busy schedules that they lose sight of their capstone requirements until later in their college journey. They end up having to cram, which is a stressful experience. With Suitable, Honors Colleges are able to break up the capstone requirements into more manageable milestones for their students - even starting as early as the first year! This benefits the students because it enables them to work on their capstone in smaller chunks and stay on track. For Honors Colleges, this helps them monitor their students’ progress through the capstone and intervene earlier if a student is falling behind.
We do! This is actually a perfect use case for Suitable and also a great mechanism for onboarding students. Whether you want to track events, assignments, projects, or other work - we can help. Plus, with our LMS integration, colloquium instructors can integrate Suitable right into their gradebook to streamline tracking.
Yes. Most of our Honors College students only use the mobile app. Not having a fully-functional mobile app is problematic with modern students.
We do! Every Honors College is partnered with a dedicated Client Success Manager (CSM) here at Suitable. Your CSM will be responsible for coordinating all of the steps needed to have a successful launch.
